- Since a public transportation
network is seemingly non-existent here, it is almost necessary to have
your own car. If you plan to rent a car, we advice you to do this in
Belgium by means of Ryanair (Hertz) because this is less expensive than
on the spot.

- by plane:
- Ryanair has several cheap flights from London Stansted and Brussels-Charleroi to Carcassonne.

|
- by train:
- From Brussels it takes 8 hours to get to the Matabiau-station of Toulouse. Bear in mind that you need to change
between Gare du Nord (arrival point for trains from Brussels, as well as the Eurostar of London) and Gare Montparnasse. You have
more than one hour to make it to the other end of the French capital (sufficient).
Price (from Brussels): 116 euro (both ways).
From Toulouse it takes another 40 minutes to get to Pamiers by train.
- TGV to Toulouse , train to Pamiers.

- (Ghent – Lille) PARIS – ORLEANS –LIMOGES – BRIVE –TOULOUSE –PAMIERS- LA TOUR DU CRIEU.
Price for use of the motorway: € 42.
